Nos dirigimos, si es que no lo estamos ya, hacia una nueva civilización en la que ya nada será como antes, donde ninguna cosa podrá garantizarse para siempre y donde todo estará aún por descubrir. En ella no valdrán ni los modelos ni las formulas aprendidas de nuestros mayores, formulas que sin apenas variación hemos venido utilizando de generación en generación durante los últimos tiempos y por lo que se ve sin demasiado éxito, puesto que, pese a la gran cantidad de conocimientos y el bienestar acumulado, no han conseguido hacernos superar la frustrante sensación de infelicidad y de crisis continua en la que nos venimos debatiendo.

Este nuevo ciclo cultural que quiere enarbolar decididamente los valores del espíritu, frente a aquellos más mezquinos del simple progreso material, se ha de orientar hacia una actividad personal más rica y creativa, persiguiendo un desarrollo cada vez mayor de los intereses y aptitudes individuales, así como una manifiesta inclinación por la armónica convivencia del hombre con el universo que nos rodea.

Estas razones, junto con el hecho de que es la educación de hoy la que hace el mundo de mañana, imponen de forma imperiosa que la escuela y con ella la enseñanza cambien, si queremos tener un lugar en ese mañana. Se hace preciso así, convencidos como estamos, que la Educación por medio del Arte puede y debe convertirse en decidida mediadora entre un mundo que se apaga y otro que nace, aunando el esfuerzo y el interés de todos en pos de un mismo afán: conseguir un futuro mejor.

ARSDIDAS, foro de educación artística y acción cultural, nace con la ambición de contribuir a una renovación en el movimiento del Arte y su Educación, a la innovación y la crítica rigurosa de sus saberes y conocimientos, así como a su puesta en valor ante la sociedad que lo genera.

Hoy el Arte, la cultura y el patrimonio, de manera general, y la "educación artística" en particular, reclaman un nuevo acomodo y un mayor respaldo desde su renovada función social.

Es en este contexto, de ímpetu especulativo y de ilusionada participación, que se plantea a la Educación por medio de Arte un trascendental reto y un serio compromiso de futuro. Especialmente porque no se trata ya solamente de dar satisfacción a unas determinadas exigencias sociales, sino más bien, y sobre todo, de interiorizar y hacer propias esas mismas demandas. Porque sólo en la medida en que seamos capaces de generar una sólida y metódica reflexión acerca del por qué y la naturaleza de nuestro trabajo, en el tiempo presente, será como éste podrá ser, de verdad: creador, eficaz y rentable para el próximo futuro.

Por ello, queremos desde esta ventana que es “ARSDIDAS” asomar y asomarnos a una innovadora visión acerca del propio quehacer en relación con la educación por medio del Arte, su entorno, su alcance y su filosofía. Queremos abrir nuestro quehacer y nuestras inquietudes al conocimiento y la confrontación creativa de cuantos, como nosotros se sientan apasionados por trabajar y construir una “educación por medio del arte” que contribuya a generar a una sociedad mejor. Así, queremos dar cauce aquí, no sólo a cuantos temas componen de manera tradicional este ámbito, sino también y con igual interés a todos aquellos, que la investigación y la crítica le señalan hoy como propios.

La necesidad de una visión integradora y amplia a la hora de abordar la mayoría de los problemas, que hoy se plantea la Metodología y la Didáctica de las Artes, nos parece incuestionable. Razón por la que, y dado el nivel de complejidad y la diversidad de los saberes que la componen, se hace imprescindible su abordaje de manera claramente interdisciplinar, puesto que en ella los límites de los elementos: arte, cultura, patrimonio y educación, quedan profundamente desdibujados, dando lugar a un ámbito de trabajo mucho más complejo de lo que en principio cabía esperar, de su simple enunciación.

En consecuencia el campo para el hemos construido este escaparate, conforma un todo complejo en el que se reúnen aspectos relativos al Arte y el conocimiento, la formación artística y la educación por medio del arte, la innovación educativa y la formación del profesorado, así como el uso y la gestión didáctica del Patrimonio y los Bienes Culturales.

ARSDIDAS quiere ser pues, cauce y motor de las crecientes inquietudes y apetencias de un grupo cada vez más numeroso de profesionales y activistas que han hecho del arte y la educación su oficio. En consecuencia, caben aquí todas aquellas cuestiones que puedan ser de provecho, de una u otra manera, a esta colectividad, cada vez más preocupada por las cuestiones y problemas que hoy tiene planteado el hecho artístico en nuestro entorno educativo y cultural.

This new cultural cycle that it wants to decidedly hoist the spirit values, as opposed to those stingier of the simple material progress, it is had to orient towards a richer and creative personal activity, persecuting a development every greater time of the interests and individual aptitudes, as well as one shows inclination by the harmonic coexistence of the man with the universe that surrounds to us.

These reasons, along with the fact that it is the education of today the one that makes the world of tomorrow, they impose in an urgent way that the school and the education change, if we want to have a place in that tomorrow. It is made precise thus, convinced as we are, that the Education by means of the Art can and must become determined mediator between a world who extinguishes itself and other who is born, combining the effort and the interest of everyone after a same eagerness: to get a better future.

ARSDIDAS, forum of artistic education and cultural action, it is born with the ambition to contribute to a renovation in the movement of the Art and its Education, to the innovation and the rigorous critic of his acquirements and knowledges, as well as to its putting in value before the society that generates it.

Today the Art, the culture and the patrimony, in a general way, and the "artistic education" in particular, a new arrangement and a greater endorsement protest from his renewed social function.

It is in this context, of speculative impetus and of deluded participation, that one considers to the Education by means of Art a transcendental challenge and a serious commitment of future. Specially because it is already not tried only to give satisfaction to certain social exigencies, but rather, and mainly, to do introspection and to make own those same demands. Because only in the measurement in which we are able to generate a solid and methodical reflection about why and the nature of our work, in the present time, it will be as this one could be, really: creator, effective and profitable for the next future.

For that reason, we want from this window that is "ARSDIDAS" to show and to show themselves to an innovating vision about the own task in relation tothe education by means of the Art, its surroundings, its reach and its philosophy. We want to open to our task and our restlessness to the knowledge andthe creative confrontation of whatever, as we they feel enthusiastic to work and to construct a "education bymeans of the art" that contributes to generate a better society. Thus, we want to give channel here, not only to whichever subjects they compose of traditional way eastscope, but also and with equal interest to all those, that the investigation and the critic indicate today like own.

The necessity of an integrating and broad vision at the time of approaching most of the problems, that today one considers the Methodology and the Didactic of theArts, it seems to us unquestionable. The reason because, and due to the level of complexity and the diversity of knowledges that compose it, its boarding becomes essential of way to interdiscipline clearly, put in her the limits of the elements: art, culture, patrimony and education, they are blurred deeply, giving rise to a scope of much more complex work of which in a beginning it was possible to hope, of its simple enunciation.

Consequently the field for we have constructed east showcase, it conforms an all complex one in that the Art and the knowledge meet to aspects relative to the artistic formation and the educaction by the Art, the educative education and the professorate formation, as well as the use and the doctrinal management of the Patrimony and the Cultural Goods.

ARSDIDAS wants to be, motor and chanell of the growing concerns and apetences of an each time greater group of proffesionals and pragmaticals that have made the art and the education their office. In consequence, here we can sep all those questions which can be suitable, in one or another way, to this colectivity, each time more worried for the problems and questions that nowadys has planne the artistic fact in our educative and cultural world.
